Biography:

Aidan is the lead singer/songwriter for The Bacillus. Aidan's love of music began at an early age and he was in his first band at the age of 9 at Primary school, before he had learned to play any instruments. Aidan sang lead and wrote the songs for the Primary School rap band 'The Funky 5', but his taste in music was already advancing in a rockier direction and he was sacked from the band for wanting to do Heavy Metal songs. In his teens Aidan switched his focus to the Performing Arts and became an actor, with several roles to his credit, namely speaking roles in the biopic 24 Hour Party People and the low-budget horror movie Antisocial Behaviour.

Quickly tiring of the movie business, Aidan decided it was time to follow his true dreams and took up the guitar, composing his own material after a year of learning. After a short period of performing as a solo artist, Aidan formed The Bacillus with fellow singer-songwriters Tim Lee and Stephen Sarsen. He writes most of the songs on his guitar and is heavily influenced by classic bands such as The Doors, The Velvet Underground and The Stooges as well as numerous bands of the Post-Punk and New Wave era.
